My
second
'Photographer's Eye' workshop took place on 17th July
2010. It was another great opportunity to meet with
photographer's keen to develop their existing talent. The
weather was good to us, the venue was superb, ...and the
craic was 90! :)
Below are my favourite photographs
made by Alison, Sharon, Mark, Yogi & Barbara on the day and their feedback
on they felt the workshop went... can't wait till
the next one!! :)
“Got more familiar with technical aspects - feel more
confident manoeuvring my way around camera. I found the open
discussions useful, along with the opportunity to get out
and about with our cameras. A really good mix of theory and
practice. Very relaxed learning environment. Great location.
Great food. Good pace to the day.” Sharon
“Extremely enlightening and helpful. Excellent. It was great
getting the opportunity to experiment for ourselves and put
into practice what we had learnt in the classroom. Small
class size works really well. Great day all round and now
feel quite competent with my camera.” Yogi
“Picked up a lot of useful photography tips in this
excellent one day photography workshop. Found information
about ISO settings and better composition most useful. I
would highly recommend this well planned photography
workshop.” Mark
"I was concerned that I wouldn’t understand anything but you
explained it all and didn’t mind repeating yourself so that
we were able to take it all in. I found learning about
shutter speeds and aperture the most useful. Very easy and
relaxed day - well done Tim - excellent!" Barbara
“The day totally exceeded my expectations. I was able to
learn lots in a very encouraging environment. Now realise
the importance of backgrounds to help make a good
photograph.” Alison
